Portraits

Not a traditional portrait but I liked they way this photo framed the dog, I played with brightness and contrast to get a silhouette effect.

On this photo I removed some logos from the t-shirt by using the Clone tool and the smudge tool. I balanced the brightness and contrast and balanced the color.

On this photo I adjusted the color, and brightness. Then I used the dodge and burn tool to darken the center of the eyes because they where reflecting green. I also darkened the reflection on the nose and lip.

Week 10

I took this photo of an old truck my dad has out behind our house, I added my name as a logo.

This photo is of my dog Riley (left) and my neighbors dog Casey (right) They are best buds and Casey stops by frequently to play with Riley. I used the cloning tool to remove some of the small marks in this photo. I eliminated the slide in the background. Some white specks in the grass. I also used it to remove the brown patches in Casey's fur.

I used text to describe this action scene

Week 7 Selection Tools

This week I used GIMP to edit two photos. I used the move tool to reposition one photo on top of another. I cropped the flower photo, and made it transparent using the Alpha channel. I used both lasso and rectangle tools with the delete key to make the flower image appear as though it is floating in the clouds. I learned how to use many of the tools during this exploration of GIMP.
